Since all my point values were in 5s, I gave each of these a -5 value, the maximum allowed from Dojo. In my classroom, students redeem 15 points to choose their own iPad game. Since Dojo allows a -5 at a time, I have to deduct 5, then deduct 5, and then deduct 5 again to show this value of -15.

To add skills you need to navigate to “Options” then “Edit Class.” The great thing about Class Dojo is being able to assign a variety of point values per skill. Positive skills can be awarded 0 – 5 points and “Needs Work” skills can be deducted 0 – 5. In a PBIS school, I highly encourage the use of 0 point “Needs Work” skills.
